Serial production of guards for Weidemann GmhB, a leading manufacturer of work equipment in Germany, took place steadily from 2006 to 2022, with deliveries of around 80 pieces per week.
Execution
Series production of turnkey guards was preceded by a number of preparatory steps. We produced a model according to the customer’s drawings and then a mould. The first pieces approved by the customer led to introducing the production process and launching serial production. The prepared parts were precisely seated in frames intended for their transport and delivered to the customer on a turnkey basis, including assembly on finished machines, without the need for further modifications.
Complaints were minimal during serial production and acceptable according to the customer’s requirements.
Further cooperation
Deliveries for Wiedemann GmbH were mediated by Latch GmbH, who became insolvent in 2021 and therefore interrupted the long-term cooperation. B&S Lamino is now negotiating the resumption of deliveries, this time directly with the customer.
